As you have heard, the Blizzard Bike Club is 30 years old, this year.
We want to do something to celebrate this cool event and need your ideas!
There will be a planning meeting for the 30th anniversary extravaganza Monday Jan 30 at 6:00 at Sandy McDonald's house 13148 Paradise St in Charlie Lake.
Everyone is welcome to attend.

Blizzard Bike Club - Kyoto Cup results - Jan 8 2012 |

Darren Guliov won Sunday's Kyoto Cup 18 km road race in an exciting four rider sprint finish on the Baldonnel road with a time of 39:54 minutes. Conditions were warm +7 and windy for the second running of this road event.
Ten riders were on the start line, staying neutral to the 9 k turn. Conditions became more difficult when the riders returned to the Baldonnel School with the fierce head and side wind. Irvin Tang and Gord Harris pulled away with Darren Guliov and Pat Ferris chasing back on. The group of four stayed together for the finish. Darren timed the finish well, pulling out past Irvin Tang, Gord Harris and Pat Ferris for the exciting win.
Roger St. Jean won the sprint for 5th from Barb Polehoykie and Celeste Pakstas at 42:38. Adam Currie edged out Richard Moody for 8th at 44:06. Larry Joice had 49:44 for 10th spot.
The club will go back into hibernation until spring weather comes in March 4.
