Kevin Shaw won the Blizzard Bike Club's Championship Cyclo Cross race, Sunday. He did five laps in 46: 00 minutes. Pat Ferris was second at 48:55 and Roger St. Jean third at 49:00. Gord Harris was 4th at 50:29 and Davide Loro 5th at 52:53 and Dean Lowry was 6th at 57:07. In the 4 lap event, Sam Keats did 48:21 and Owen Giebelhaus 52:32.
Conditions were pleasant t but very windy on the North Peace Circuit.
That is the final club event of the 2011 season. Pray for Spring.

The Blizzard Bike Club held its' 29th Annual Awards Banquet at the Quality Inn, Saturday night. Emcee Floyd Polehoykie entertained the crowd of 40 guests.

Sunday Cyclo cross was won by Kevin Shaw with a five lap time of 48:03 minutes on the high school loop. Pat Ferris held off Roger St. Jean for second at 50:00. Gord 'the Hammer' Harris was 4th at 51:26, Davide Loro 55:29, Dean Lowry 56:32, Sam Keats 57:51 and Owen Giebelhaus 68:00.
