Only two riders came out to the final Baldonnel time trial, Thursday night, and they both tied for time. Richard Wood and George Gamble with go into the books as co-winners with a time of 27:20.

Coming up:
Sunday is a Sunday mountain bike race at 11 am on the Cactus Trails on the 103 road.
There is also a contingent of local triathletes doing the Penticton Ironman, Sunday.

AIRPORT BEATTON FREE RIDE TRAILS ALIVE AGAIN! |

Ryan Dumeresq and his troops are working on repairing and cleaning up the old Airport Beatton Free ride Trails.
They have made it all rideable but much is left to do. Can you help with labour and materials (wood)?

Lots of riders are getting reaquainted with those old trials, orginally set up in the late 90's by Bill Brown, Brad Hall and their group.

Richard Howes won the Wednesday night mountain bike race and broke the course record. He set a time of 22:18 minutes for the 'long lap'. Josh Martyn was second at 22:30 and Pat Ferris third at 24:24. Ryan Dumaresq was 4th at 24:43 and Kevin Shaw 5th at 26:56.
Adam Currie was 6th at 31:54, Ken lane 32:42 and Kelsey Young 40:16.

Thursday is the final Baldonnel time trial of the year, at 7 pm.
Sunday is another Cactus Mountain bike race at 11:am.

For those interested, it is a long mountain bike season for the Blizzards.
There are 11 more races to go, the last one being the Club Championship Sept 27.
All on the Cactus Trails.

Wed nite: Another Dirt duel on the Cactus Trails, tonite, for MTB race #8.
Gary Hilderman, Ryan Dumaresq and Pat Ferris have all won races with Pat Ferris setting the current course record of 22:59 minutes for the long lap aug 11.
Weather could be a factor.
Great spectator friendly circuit.

9.3 km East on the 103 road to Cecil Lake.
Race time 7 pm.
