Cyclo cross weekend race results Sept 23/08 |

The Blizzard Club contingent did well in two well attended cyclo cross events in Edmonton, over the weekend. Riders came from all over Alberta. Each day featured 100 racers of all the classes. In Saturday’s United Cross race, Colter Young was 10th in the Expert Class. Pat Ferris was 5th in Sport Class.
Stephen Ferris was the top local finishing 9th in the top ‘Elite’ men’s field in Sunday’s Hop N Hurl event. Pat Ferris was 21st in Sport Class and Colter Young 23rd in Expert Class.
Locally, Robin Baillie was the winner in the North Peace Cross race, over nine other riders.
Coming up:
-Thursday Cyclo cross at 6 pm and NPSS
-Sunday is the final Challenge Cup race of the season. It is the ‘Race of the Fallen Leaves’ at the old Montney Store at 10:00 am.
