Robin Baillie turned in the fastest time of the year, Thursday, with a 23:15 for the 16 km. Baldonnel circuit. Colter Young was second at 25:12 and Bob Andrews 3rd at 26:17. Pat Ferris was 4th at 26:35 and Billy Bucknall 5th at 26:58.
Jolea Bilodeau won fastest in the Women’s Div. with 30:33. Kathryn Fairweather was second at 31:01 and Barb Polehoykie 3rd at 31:07. Kendra Young was 4th at 31:19 and Erma Stanonik 5th at 33:42.
Other times were Roger St. Jean 27:25, Simon Andrews 27:59, Gord Harris 28:14, Les Elliott 28:16, Richard Wood 29:04, Keith Koebel 29:27, Ed Fornelli 30:00, Ken Nix 30:27, Rod Lewis 30:48, Owen Giebelhaus 31:53 and Russ Wilson 34:24.
Hilda Bilodeau won the 8 km with 15:34.
The Blizzards are doing a pair of Challenge Cup races in Grande Prairie, this Sunday. The criterium goes at 11 am from St. Joseph’s School and the road race at 2 from O’Brien Park.
