Blizzard Bike Club Fort St. John, BC May 29, 2008
Rob Lavigne won his very first time trial on the Baldonnel road circuit, Thursday, with a time of 26:29 minutes. Billy Bucknall was second at 28:12 and Roger St. Jean third at 29:04. Bob Andrews was 4th at 29:14, Pat Ferris 5th at 32:12 and Russ Wilson 6th at 34:15.
Colter Young made the qualifying time, successfully, Thursday night, in Calgary, to make the Alberta Junior team for the Abitibi stage race in July. This weekend he will be racing the Pigeon Lake race and Omnium in Edmonton.
Stephen Ferris will be heading down to compete in the BC Provincial Road Championships. The ‘Westside Classic’ is tough Pro/Am event is taking place Sunday, in Vancouver.
The remaining Blizzards will either be competing in or helping with the Fort St. John Triathlon starting at 9 am Sunday morning.
