Blizzard Bike Club Fort St. John, BC June 15, 2008
Stephen Ferris won Sunday’s 40 km Cecil Lake time trial with a blazing fast 57:10 minutes. Pat Ferris was second at 1:02:55 hours and Bob Andrews third at 1:03:48. Gord Harris had another strong time trial finish for 4th at 1:06:10. Simon Andrews was 5th at 1:07:13.
Darren Guliov was 6th at 1:07:30, Sandy McDonald 1:10:16, Richard Wood 1:12:30, Kathryn Fairweather 1:13:20, Barb Polehoykie 1:17:20, Owen Giebelhaus 1:17:34 and Russ Wilson 1:28:54.
Conditions were cool, mostly dry and windless.
Coming up:
-Thursday Baldonnel time trial at 7 pm.
-Sunday is the 24th running of the Club Road Championship at 10: am.
This year’s race features a brand new circuit. Robin Baillie has won it the last 2 years. The start is at the Pineview Pullout, on the Montney road.
