The times were fast for the big crowd of time trialers at the Baldonnel Thursday night race. Colter Young turned in a personal best (PB) at 23:16 minutes. Jay Morrison of Calgary also did a PB of 24:07 and Rob Lavigne 24:35 (PB). Jake Elliott was 4th at 24:43 (PB) and Bob Andrews 5th at 25:23.
Pat Ferris was 6th at 26:04, Gilbert Bilodeau 26:10, Trevor McDonnell 27:07, Sandy McDonald 27:22 (PB) , Eric Snucins 27:43, Simon Andrews 27:50, Eric Lowry 28:14, Barb Polehoykie 28:50, Jolea Bilodeau 28:55, Owen Giebelhaus 29:09, Ken Nix 29:27, Dean Lowry 29:39, Russ Wilson 30:16, Marie Young 30:25, Hilda Bilodeau 34:51 and Mae West 39:49. Rob and Kelsey Young did 15:54 for the 8 km distance.
Ole Lake race results from last Monday: Gary Hilderman edged out Billy Bucknall in the sprint for the win in the 40 km event at 1:06:55 hours. Sam Keats was third at 1:09:40. Ken Nix edged out Owen Giebelhaus for 4th at 1:10:10 for 4th, Erma Stanonik 1:13:34 for 6th and Bill Lindsay 1:17:32 for 7th. Estelle Nix had 42:30 for the 20 km event.
Coming up:
-Sunday 95 km Cecil Lake to Upper School and return very hilly road race for 95 km. A 40 km to Clearview and back will also be available which is much flatter.
Start time at 10 am at the Cecil Lake gravel pit.
