Blizzard Bike Club Fort St. John, BC August 17, 2008
Robin Baillie edged out Colter Young to win Sunday’s hot and tough 80 km Baldonnel to Montney Store road race. Their time was 2:21:00 hours. Joseph Gladysz of Calgary out sprinted Bob Andrews for third at 2:36:00. Roger St. Jean was 5th at 2:37:20.
Barb Polehoykie was 6th at 2:40:11, Pat Ferris 2:43:24, Ken Nix 2:47:45, Dean Lowry 2:53:10, Kathryn Fairweather and Erma Stanonik 2:53:47 and Owen Giebelhaus 3:03:42.
Coming up:
-Thursday Baldonnel time trial at 7 pm.
-Sunday Challenge Cup road race at Teepee Creek at 10:00 am. The Blizzards have a solid series lead with three races left in the 15 race series.
-Colter Young is off to the Tour of Belize with the Alberta Junior team.
