George Gamble won the Thursday night Mountain bike time trial, with a time of 16:16 minutes for the 3.5 km 'short Course. Josh Martyn was second at 16:30 and Pat Ferris third at 17:29. Kevin Shaw was 4th at 18:15, Roger St. Jean was 5th at 19:54, and Sam Keats 6th at 26:25.

Coming this Sunday:

WED NITE MOUNTAIN BIKE RACE SEPT 1 - PAT WON! |

Pat Ferris won the Wednesday night mountain bike race #9 with a time of 24:11 minutes. Josh Martyn was second at 24:38 and Gary Hilderman third at 25:59. Kevin Shaw was 4th at 26:51, Roger St. Jean 5th at 28:07 and Adam Currie 6th at 35:27.
Gary Hilderman lead out from the start with Josh Martyn and Pat Ferris getting past at the 1 km mark. Josh built up a fair lead half ways up the 'upper course'. Pat Ferris cut the lead down with the climbing, getting past Josh at the very top. Ferris was able to hold the lead and gain a little more time on the long windy downhill and finish.
Coming up:
-Thursday mountain bike time trial 7 pm Cactus Trails.
-Sunday mountain bike race 11 am at the cactus trails course.

Barb finished in 12:25:32, 34/149 and 1166 overall, Gord 13:52:30, 78/123 and 1937 overall and Floyd 16:02:22, 261/288 and 2474 overall.
Janelle Morrison finished 8th overall Pro Class.

AUG 29 - SUNDAY MOUNTAIN BIKE RACE - RYAN WINS AGAIN! |

Ryan Dumaresq won Sunday's Cactus Trails mountain bike race with a time for the 3 laps in 59:02. George Gamble was second at 61:22 and Gary Hilderman 3rd at 62:02. Pat Ferris was 4th at 66:23 and Kevin Shaw 5th at 68:25. Adam Currie had 28:43 for one lap and Kelsey Young 17:32 for the novice lap.
Conditions were muddy, sticky and slippery making the course a tough and slow one. Gary Hilderman was first out and in the lead. He faded to 4th as Ryan Dumaresq took over the lead at the halfway point and lead to the finish.
