Depite the rain all around us, the trails were as dry as dust.
The "Cactus' trails seem to be in a little Desert.

CDN Ryder Hesjedal (Garmin) is now up to 10th from 13th.
Contador now has a 8 sec lead after Andy Schleck had some bike troubles on ther crucial final climb.
A nail biter after 15 days. Amazing!

BLIZ 40 K RACE RESULTS JULY 18 - KEVIN THE WINNER!

Kevin Shaw won the Goodlow 40 km time trial, Sunday night, with a time of 1:02:13 hours. Les Elliott was second at 1:04:53 and Pat Ferris was 3rd at 1:05:02. Roger St. Jean was 4th at 1:05:13 and George Gamble 5th at 1:06:06.
Conditions were windless and warm for this test of the World Masters Challenge course. That race will be happening August 2, the holiday Monday.

Other times were Owen Giebelhaus at 1:12:11, Ken Nix 1:12:15, Jake Elliott 1:12:55, Gord Harris 1:13:01, Ryan Dumaresq 1:14:08 and Melanie Chapple 1:19:30.

-Wednesday MTB race #4 on the Beatton cactus circuit, on the 103 road.

-Thursday Baldonnel time trial 7 pm

-Sunday is the third annual Terry Stone Memorial time trial in Hudson's Hope at 11 am from the entrance sign.

Ryder Hesjedal holding 13th after Stage 14 in the Pyranees Mountains.More steep, nasty and hot stages to go.
Tour of Whiterock: Stephen Ferris was 25th (pack time) in the Pro Men Criterium, Saturday.
